Vice President of Business Development
David is responsible for identifying new business opportunities to help expand the IZEA family of products. David works with each IZEA functional team, the IZEA community, and third parties to develop business strategies and partnerships.
Prior to joining IZEA, David was Director of Business Development for Yahoo!'s Local Markets & Commerce group where he focused on strategies and transactions for Yahoo! Shopping, Yahoo! Real Estate, and Y! Classifieds. Previously, David served in AOL's Business Affairs and Corporate Development group working on a variety of acquisitions, investments, and strategic relationships in such areas as ecommerce, content, and local marketplaces. Prior to that, David was at Broadview International, the technology mergers & acquisitions advisory firm now a part of Jefferies & Co.
David holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Georgetown University and a master's degree in business administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley. David is based in San Francisco, CA.
